According to The National Institute of Health, an autoimmune disorder occurs when the body’s immune system attacks and destroys healthy body tissue by mistake.  There are more than 80 types of autoimmune disorders.  For this project you will be researching one of these disorders and writing a research paper to discribe the disorder you have explored.
