Mrs. Lashbrook's Research Project: Paper Towns: Home

The object of this project is to bring a better understanding of some of the concepts and ideas related to the novel, Paper Towns.

Paper Town Database Search

You will be required to use at least two database articles to research information related to Paper Towns.  Some of you will be researching the literary movement called Transcendentalism, some will be researching Walt Whitman's works Leaves of Grass and "Song of Myself" and others will be exploring the life of author/poet Walt Whitman.  You will be presenting the information you learn to your class.  Ultimately, this will help you understand Whitman, the pieces he wrote, and the literary movement they represent.  All of this will lead to a better understanding of John Green's novel Paper Towns.

The following databases have been preselected for you.  Choose the best one for your research, based on the topic you selected to explore.  For example, if you are researching the literary movement Transcendentalism, you may decide that Literary Movements for Students is your best option.
