Databases are great sources to use for research. You are assured that they are reliable, they are easy to use, and they will provide you with an MLA citation...see part 2 of the task! The following databases are those that could be helpful for this project.
Remember- you cannot cite Wikipedia, and Google is a search engine, not a website...so do not cite that either! Use reliable website from reputable sources. You can find these on your own, or you can use the links that have been found for you.
Remember, if you are planning to search the web for your own websites, be sure that they are reliable!
Text books are also excellent resources for information about these empires. The two global text books you could use are Ways of the World and World History. MLA citations for these two titles are as follows:
Beck, Roger B., et al. World History. McDougal Littell, 2008.
Strayer, Robert W. and Eric W. Nelson. Ways of the World. Bedford/St Martins, 2016.
These books are on reserve for you in the library. In addition, the following are excerpts from these two books that Mr. VanHuben thought might be helpful!
