The author of this site is an Associate Professor of Art at the State University of New York College at Oneonta.  This site provides information on archaeology, architecture, art, culture, history, and a map of Ancient Greece.  There are also links to various museums in Greece.

The British Museum offers numerous links including information on Greek life including Gods, Goddesses, etc....

Encyclopedia Mythica:
A brief description of heroes, kings, warriors, seers, and other characters from Greek mythology.

Greek Gods:
This site nicely organizes Greek gods and deities by category. Very easy to use.

Greek Mythology:
Two sections, Gods and Heroes, tell the stories of famous Greek characters in a simple, entertaining way. There is a dictionary built in to clear up any confusing terms. And an encyclopedia lists all people, events, and terms for quick reference. A great site!

Greek Mythology Link:  The author of this site is an author of a well-known mythology book and former teacher of mythology.  Good primary sources and lots of details.

This site is not just for kids!  Dr. Carr, the author of this site, is an Associate Professor of History at Portland State University.  It provides excellent information on many aspects of Ancient Greece.
