Mazzola- Tobacco Advertisement: Project Overview and Resources

Project Overview

Students will be completing an Anti-tobacco Advertisement in a poster or online format. The focus of the Ad should be on the negative effects or health risks.  Be creative!

The poster will include both facts and pictures. Consider a catchy slogan to help get your message across.  See the "Slogan Help" tab for help.

Don't forget to submit a Works Cited page in MLA format (use Easybib, link below, to help with this!). Remember a list of URLs is not a properly formatted Works Cited page.

Academic Integrity

Cite your sources!

BHS uses the MLA style of citation.  Hopefully you all have your Style Manuals from last year!  No?! Fear not, we have extra copies and it is also available on the Library Website

If you do not correctly cite your sources (this includes a Works Cited page and in-text citations) you are plagiarizing!  If you are unsure of how to correctly cite your work, check the Style Manual or ask for help!

Easy Bib

Easy Bib is a free, online tool to help you generate citations.  Remember, we use the newest edition of MLA- the 8th edition.
